Craig Thatcher, Greenfisher IoD Director of the Year, 2018 Finalist

Craig Thatcher IOD London & South Director of the Year 2018 Finalist

In making the nomination, Alison Green says “Craig has overcome the biggest challenge faced by a director of any company. Taking over and then leading a business when the founder unexpectedly dies without a suitable internal successor.”

Which is precisely what happened in August 2015 when Alison’s husband, Stephen Green, died on the Prudential Ride 100 mile cycle ride. She goes on to add, “Craig, stepped in to carry out the plan that Stephen had started, but never completed. To grow the agency.

What a positive impact he has made. Yet, despite having so many different priorities, Craig found time to launch a special blend of ground coffee in memory of Stephen and raising more money for Action for A-T, the charity Stephen was riding for.
