On 23 February 2018, I was delighted to be the guest of Jayne Phenton and Jane Samuels of The Edge Foundation at the tes FE Awards at the Grosvenor House Hotel in Park Lane, London. Comedian, Alan Davies (top left) entertained us and announced the winners of the seventeen award categories, after a drinks reception and excellent dinner.

The ten FE Awards recognises and celebrate the outstanding achievements of the individuals and institutions that help to improve the skill levels of young people and adult learners in further education. Jayne Phenton (top right) presented the Employee Engagement Award to Stephenson College for their partnership with Volvo Group.









The Edge Foundation is an independent educational charity that shapes the future of education through its research, policy and campaign work.
