Basingstoke Consortium is a charity that works with young people to promote motivation, self-confidence and skills that will take them into adult life. The withdrawal of government funding meant that the charity needed to secure further funding from the private sector through corporate sponsorship.

We assisted them in creating a communications programme that would sell the attributes of the charity as well as highlight the commercial benefits to potential corporate sponsors. We created the initiative “Skillstree” including designing its visual identity and developing the key selling messages for the sales campaign.

The charity successfully attracted seven sponsors securing its existence. The charity has since integrated the Skillstree brand across other areas – such as their awards and it is now becoming a brand within its own right.
